If "Finding Nemo" Was True to Life:

If "Finding Nemo" was true to life this is what would happen:

The parents lay their eggs, live in their anemone, everything is happy.

Evil fish tries to steal the eggs, Mom dies defending them, only one remains.

Here is the tricky part that Disney doesn't want you to know:

When the female fish dies, the male fish will undergo...a little transformation.

He will turn into the mom. Capable of laying eggs and everything.

One day Nemo wakes up and his dad, Marlin, is now his mom, Marlene.

But I think that would have freaked the little kiddies out too much.

Just makes you think, what else is Disney keeping from you?
