Do You Remember?

Besides being a wonderful Jack Johnson song, it is also a phrase often used as an introduction to reminiscing and nostalgia.

Here's a good one.

Do you remember when TV series would have a new episode every week and not as sporadic as a snowstorm in Edmonton?

I mean, if you aren't going to be able to perform, don't get into the business. It's a good three-week hiatus for Grey's Anatomy here.

3 weeks.

In three weeks you could hypothetically write 5 exams, 2 major research papers, and probably throw in a minor paper and a couple of assignments as well.

Oh wait, that's not hypothetical, that was this semester....

Anyway, back to the matter at hand. How did it suddenly become ok to just not show new episodes for the majority of the running season? Did anyone ask to see a special sneak peek of "What About Brian?". I know I sure as hell didn't.

When a show advertises the line "Did you ever have a day where you questioned every decision you ever made?" (Response: "Every day, Brian") as one of the *better* parts of the episode....well I think you get the picture.

Anyway, I just finished reading a tome for Psychology and I want to watch some hot doctors kill/save people and get into hijinx! Perhaps I'll have to settle for Sydney and Nigel running around the world looking for relics....
